Absolutely! A Walmart Canada Digital Gift Card makes a wonderful gift for someone special. Digital gift cards are now conveniently available to purchase online.
Visit our Gift Card page to choose the design, value, and quantity of the gift card. You can even write a thoughtful message for the recipient. There are many convenient delivery options available. You can send the Walmart Canada Digital Gift Card by email, text, or you can print and self-deliver it yourself!
Please note, when you purchase a digital gift card online, you’ll be taken through a separate and secure transaction experience by a third-party partner that won’t include other items you may have in your Walmart.ca shopping cart. Once your gift card transaction is complete, you can return to your shopping cart on Walmart.ca and proceed with checking out your other items.
No. If you would like to purchase a physical gift card to give to someone, you’ll have to visit one of our stores.
You can add up to 30 gift cards to your order. You can apply the same value to all quantities, or add separate cards with different values to your order. You must enter a whole amount between $5 - $250 CAD.

We’re sorry, you’re not able to purchase a Walmart Canada Digital Gift Card online using another Walmart Canada Gift Card. You can only purchase a gift card online with a credit card.
Unfortunately, you cannot use a physical or digital Walmart Canada Gift Card to purchase another type of gift card online. This includes digital or downloadable video game gift cards, etc.
The card is only valid for purchases at Walmart Canada (excludes licensees). Walmart Canada Gift Cards are not returnable and cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash (unless required by law). Your receipt is required to replace lost or stolen cards. Card balances cannot be applied towards credit card balances. Returns of merchandise purchased with gift cards will be credited back to the original Walmart Canada Gift Card. Walmart Canada reserves the right to cancel a card if obtained illegally (including through fraud).

There are some restrictions on the total dollar amount of the Walmart Canada Gift Cards. If you’re paying for your gift card with cash, you’ll be able to purchase up to a total of $1,000 worth of Walmart Canada Gift Cards per transaction. If you’re paying for your gift card with debit or credit cards, you’ll be able to purchase up to a total of $1,000 worth of Walmart Canada Gift Cards. We do not accept personal or company cheques as payment.

Redeeming a Walmart Canada Gift Card online
Yes, we do accept both physical and digital Walmart Canada Gift Cards for online purchases. Simply select “Gift Card” as a payment option at checkout and type in the gift card number and PIN. The value of the gift card will be deducted from your purchase. You can redeem up to four Walmart Canada Gift Cards per purchase.
Please hold on to your Walmart Canada Gift Card until you receive your item and know you’re happy with it. In the event that you’d like to return an item that you used a Walmart Canada Gift Card to pay for, you can make an in-store or online return and the refund will go back to the same gift card, which you can use for future purchases.
If you’ve already disposed of your Walmart Canada Gift Card, you can return your item at your local Walmart store and an associate will provide you with a new gift card with the refunded amount. If you’re not able to return your item at a Walmart store, please contact our Customer Service team.
No. Unfortunately, you can’t use any Walmart Canada Gift Card to make a payment against your Walmart Rewards MasterCard.
